Douglas now offers a range of shades from their own brand, Douglas absolute nails.There are 15 fabulous shades to choose from. Lena is a fuchsia creme, great shade and perfect formula. I was really surprised by the quality (these retail for 4,95EUR) so I will go back and get more :) This is 2 easy coats, no topcoat. Unfortunately Douglas is no longer operating in the USA, they have been for 20 years but wanted to focus on Europe. Douglas stores can be found in the following countries:

Sinds kort heeft Douglas een eigen lijn van 15 schitterende nagellakjes (sommige zijn limited editions dus niet te lang treuzelen ;) Lena is een fuchsiaroze cremelak met een perfecte formule, (en dat voor 4,95) ik was aangenaam verrast door de kwaliteit dus ga zeker terug voor meer. Deze lakken zijn trouwens ook online verkrijgbaar. Check www.douglas.nl voor alle andere mooie kleuren. Dit zijn 2 moeiteloze laagjes zonder topcoat. Douglas filialen vind je in alle bovenstaande landen (mocht je een keer ergens anders zijn is het altijd leuk een andere douglas te bezoeken :)

Shopping on the Internet can be very convenient, altough sometimes it takes a while before I actually try an online shop. This was my first experience with Douglas online shopping and I am happy I did order there, the package arrived soon, the gift wrapping looked cute and I got 2 samples I have chosen myself. Another big plus is that they now also sell Burberry make up and Anny nailpolishes online next to all the great brands they already offer. Do you buy your beauty products online?

Internetshoppen kan erg handig zijn, al duurt het bij mij soms even voordat ik een online shop probeer. Voor de feestdagen was ik op zoek naar een nieuw geurtje en na enig dubben besloot ik voor Trésor van Lancôme te gaan. Deze was online bij Douglas in de aanbieding dus heb ik de geur online bij Douglas besteld. Je vind er niet alleen merken als Clinique, Estee Lauder en Dior, maar nu ook de make up van Burberry, nagellakjes van Anny (waarover binnenkort meer ;) mooie spiegels en luxe merken als Kanebo. Uiteraard is niets leuker dan even snuffelen en kliederen in de winkel, maar als je weet wat je zoekt is dit net zo handig. Well it sure looks like it but I don't have Peridot to compare, but with this beauty I don't need peridot ;)

Ik weet dat velen zich af zullen vragen of dit een peridot Dupe is, helaas heb ik Peridot niet om te vergelijken, maar nu ik deze mooie lak heb heb ik Peridot ook helemaal niet nodig ;)

In the meanwhile I have been wearing some of the shades to test wear and formula and I am very, very impressed, watch your back Opi and Essie! The formula is flawless and creates a smooth finish, and the polish is very resistant. Goedemorgen! Een paar dagen geleden liet ik je mijn Anny aankopen zien en vandaag heb ik skittle swatches voor je. In de tussentijd heb ik de lakken uitgebreid gedragen en getest en ik ben heel erg onder de indruk, Opi en Essie hebben er een serieuze concurrente bij! De lak werkt heel fijn en geeft een perfecte finish en de lak blijft ook goed op zijn plek ondanks alle afwassen en mijn soms heftige schoonmaakbuien. Deze mooie look van Douglas is niet splinternieuw maar wel heel erg mooi, Douglas heeft naast allerlei mooie make-up merken ook een heel erg goed eigen merk. Zo nu en dan lanceren ze ook themacollecties en deze look was gebaseerd op het creëeren van een prachtige glans op de huid voor een subtiele make-up die met strategisch geplaatste glansjes toch erg glam is.

Hoewel het de zomerlook was vind ik dit echt het type product dat het hele jaar gebruikt kan worden, glansjes, mits subtiel en goed geplaatst, zijn altijd goed!
