Rituals Cheek & eye glow Peach

Ik ben Crystal en ik heb een highlighter fetish, als ik een mooie highlighter zie dan kan ik die maar moeilijk laten liggen. Grappig is dat ik voor kerst een Rituals cadeaubon had gekregen maar zo bezig was met de keuze uit verschillende geurstokjes voor in huis dat ik helemaal niet had gedacht aan het feit dat Rituals ook een make-up lijn heeft...

What's in my bag?

Zo nu en dan moet ik echt mijn handtas even helemaal leegmaken en de inhoud even updaten, ik haal nog net geen kapstok en lamp uit mijn tas à la Mary Poppins maar het scheelt niet veel. Ik sleep een volledige survival kit mee, van snacks, doekjes en zalfjes voor peuterdame tot klassieke handbag essentials zoals lipstick en zonnebril voor mijzelf.

Rituals maakt van een noodzakelijk klusje als je handen wassen een klein feestje met de geurige hand wash en hand lotions. De Royale 300 ml flacons met doseerpompje staan heel mooi op de wastafel. Er zijn 4 geurlijnen om uit te kiezen (lastig! Zoals je ondertussen al weet ben ik niet zo goed in keuzes maken...)

De hand wash heeft een zeepvrije formule dus wast wel schoon maar droogt niet uit en de verzorgende lotion is helemaal geweldig. Het is een lichtgewicht formule die echt voor megazachte handen zorgt. Ik bleef mijn eigen handen aaien na gebruik, zo zacht.. (weet het ben soms een beetje vreemd :) Grappig is dat ik helemaal niet van rozemarijn hou maar ik vind de reflection toch een hele fijne opwekkende geur hebben. Er moet eigenlijk wel een waarschuwing op deze verpakkingen komen...deze producten werken verslavend....

The hand wash has a soap free formula that cleanses but does not dry out your skin. The lotion has a lightweight formula which leaves the skin incredibly soft, I seriously could not stop touching my hands not believing how soft they are (I know I am a little strange). The funny thing is that I usually don't like rosemary but I love it in the reflection hand lotion and hand wash. There should be a warning on the bottles tough...these products are seriously addictive...

The Rituals Urban Chic collection offers 2 palettes for the eyes and
of course I wanted to play with the bold shades :) The look I created with
the bold palette has the turqouise eyeshadow all over the lids and under the
eyes, the pink is in the inner corner and under the eyebrow, and the electric blue
is used to create depth and definition. I kept the lips simple just using a little
rosy lipcolor and the entire face got some bronzer, some extra on the cheeks
for a summer glow. During award season I always start to draw dresses and this
is the one I would like to wear on the red carpet lol, big Coincidence that the shades
are matching :)

De rituals Urban Chic collectie bevat 2 mooie oogschaduwpalette's en ik wou natuurlijk
eerst met de felle kleurtjes spelen :) Deze look heeft als basis de turqouise oogschaduw en de lichtroze heb ik in de binnenste ooghoek en onder de wenkbrauw gebruikt, de diepblauwe tenslotte heb ik gebruikt voor diepte en contour. De lippen kregen een vleugje rozige lipstick en over het gehele gezicht een lekkere vleug bronzer, extra aangezet op de neusbrug en wangen voor een
zomerse glow. Tijdens het award seizoen zit ik altijd jurken te schetsen onder de shows, en toevallig had deze hetzelfde kleurenschema als het palette van rituals :)

Beauty Haul week 3 and 4

The last week I did a lot of cosmetics shopping, here's the result :) (Ps this does not happen often lol) I also updated my wardrobe with some sale items, more about the fashion later this week :)

De afgelopen 2week heb ik best veel cosmetica gekocht...hier is het resultaat :) (PS dit gebeurt niet zo heel vaak hoor lol :) Ook heb ik mijn garderobe even goed aangepakt, meer daarover later in de week :)

now Anny has reached the Netherlands. The display is
torture, I kept staring at it not being able to choose from so
many awesome shades. I still have at least a dozen more on my
wishlist.....These shades are (from left to right):

Douglas Absolute nails, Douglas now has her own range
of fashionable polishes for only 4,95 euro's. This is fireworks
(left) and Lena (right).

Koh! Rock Chick from their latest collection, I did
tape swatches of this collection, but I don't have a clue
what the names of the other shades are....Will post soon.

Rituals nailcare & Amber Stone polish

Vandaag wil ik jullie kennis laten maken met de nagelverzorging van het fijne merk Rituals. Ik heb de basecoat, een hele mooie nagellak en de topcoat. Alle 3 de producten bevatten robijn om je nagels te versterken, volgens de oude Chinese wijsheid geeft Robijn kracht en energie, de kleuren van de lakken zijn gebaseerd op edelstenen. De basecoat egaliseert het nageloppervlak en voorkomt gele verkleuringen op de nagels. Amber Stone is een bijzondere mix tussen taupe en donkergrijs, een kleur die het volgens mij op alle huidtintjes erg mooi doet, van roomwit tot diep ebbenhout. De nagellak brengt heel erg fijn aan, de formule is precies goed en dekt in 2 laagjes. De topcoat geeft een hoogglans finish en zorgt voor een langere houdbaarheid van je manicure.

Bij Rituals draait het om je goed te voelen over jezelf en goed te zorgen voor je zelf, je huis en je naasten. Today I would like to introduce you to the nailcare products of Rituals. I got the basecoat, a really nice polish and the topcoat. All 3 products are enriched with ruby to strenghten the nails, according to ancient chinese wisdom ruby gives strength and energy, the color of the polishes are inspired by gemstones. The basecoat evens out the surface of the nail and prevents staining. Amber Stone is a mix between taupe and dark grey, I think this color will look stunning on all skin tones, from creamy white to glowing ebony. This polish applies really really nice, the formula is just right and is opaque and even in 2 coats. The topcoat gives a high gloss finish and will protect your manicure.
