Orly feel the vibe Skinny Dip

Skinny dip is een lak uit de Orly feel the vibe collectie. Ikzelf
heb niet zoveel met neon lakken, maar deze kon ik echt niet
laten liggen, dit is ook niet echt een superfelle neon. Skinny dip
is een schitterende felblauwe shimmer, dit zijn 2 laagjes,
geen topcoat.

Skinny dip is a shade from the Orly feel the Vibe collection,
I am not a neon lover but this was such a beautiful shade that
 had to have it. This is 2 coats, no topcoat.

Ik dacht doe eens gek en sla eens lekker veel nieuwe kleurtjes in...ben al druk begonnen met swatchesn, de Essie skittles heb je al voorbij kunnen zien komen en ik heb nu Essie watermelon op. Ben wel benieuwd welke kleurtjes zou jij het eerst zou willen zien, maar nu ga ik eerst even lekker van het zonnetje genieten. Fijne dag allemaal!

Sometimes you have to do some crazy shopping so I got some new polishes, and started swatching (have you seen the Essie resort skittles?) I am wearing Essie watermelon right now, what an amazing shade of pink! I am curious which shades you would like me to show you first. But now I am going to enjoy the sunshine, have a lovely day!

Orly cool romance for spring 2012 Artificial sweetener & prelude to a kiss

I got two of the 6 shades from Orly for spring 2012. The dusty pink shimmer Artificial sweetener and the stunning pale peach Prelude to a kiss. I was looking for a pale peach for sooo long and now I finally have it :) Let's take a look at the swatches.

Ik heb 2 van de 6 kleurtjes uit de lentelook van Orly gekocht. De dusty roze shimmer Artificial sweetener en de mooie bleke perziktint Prelude to a kiss. Ik was al tijden op zoek naar een mooie bleke peach en nu heb ik er eindelijk eentje :) Laten we de swatches even bekijken.

Dusty pink shimmer, very pretty pink with golden shimmer,
subtle and still very nice shade.

Dusty roze shimmer, erg mooie roze tint met gouden
shimmer. Subtiel maar toch heel mooi.

Essie spring 2012 Tour de Finance swatches & comparison

When I checked out the bottle I was a little disappointed thinking
this was a dupe for last summer's super bossa nova, I included
a comparison in this post to show you it is not :) Tour de
finance has a blue-ish reflection in the shimmers and is opaque
and smooth in 2 coats. This color was not my thing at first, but
I started to love it more and more

teleurgesteld want ik dacht een dupe voor essie's
super bossa nova van vorige zomer in mijn handen te hebben.
Dit is dus niet het geval, vandaar dat ik meteen even een
vergelijking heb gedaan :) Tour de Finance heeft mooie
shimmers die een blauwige gloed geven en deze lak
is mooi dekkend en egaal in 2 laagjes. Deze kleur was
in de eerste istantie niet echt mijn ding, maar ik ga m steeds
meer en meer waarderen.

Essie spring 2012: A crewed interest swatches & comparison

My absolute favorite of the Essie spring collection is definetely A crewed interest, for weeks I have been searching for a pastel peach with not too strong orange tones and I found it! The first coat goes on a little sheer, so depending on the thickness of your coats you will need 2 to 3 coats. The polish is super shiny and I love the shade. These pics were taken after a day of wear,  because by the time I did the mani sun was setting, these are taken in the morning sun so they could appear a little warmer than they are in real life. I did a comparison with Essie's Van d'Go and Orly cotton candy so you can see the difference in shades.

Mijn favoriet uit de lentecollectie van Essie is absoluut A crewed interest. Ik ben serieus al weken op zoek naar een echte pastel peach, zonder dat die te donker of oranje is en ik heb deze nu gevonden! De eerste laag is een beetje transparant, dus afhankelijk van hoe dik je de laagjes aanbrengt heb je er 2 á 3 nodig. De lak heeft een hoogglans en ik ben gewoon verliefd op deze kleur. Aangezien ik mijn nagels lakte toen de zon al onderging heb ik mijn nagels de volgende ochtend op de foto gezet, het zonlicht was vrij warm van kleur dus dat zie je ook op de foto's. Ik heb ook meteen een vergelijking gedaan met Orly cotton Candy en Essie van d'go zodat je duidelijk kunt zien wat voor een bijzinder kleurtje dit is.

This shade was not available in The Netherlands and Belgium, good thing there is swapping :)

this is another great example of the nice Orly formula and quality. Easy to apply and a lot of pigment power. Can't wait for their spring collection to come out :)

Deze kleur was helaas niet verkrijgbaar in Nederland en België, gelukkig bestaat er zoiets als swappen :) Dit is een voorbeeldje van de mooie kleuren die Orly maakt met een superfijne kwaliteitslak. Ben trouwens heel erg benieuwd naar de lentelook van Orly, maar daarvoor zal ik nog even geduld moeten hebben :).

Orly Rococo a go-go swatches & comparison request

Orly's Rococo a go-go is a stunning mix of copper and purple shimmers creating a very rich shade that changes from angle to angle. This is 2 coats.

Orly's Rococo a go-go is een prachtige mix van koperen en paarse shimmers die samen voor een heel mooi effect zorgen, de kleur is in iedere lichtval weer anders. Dit zijn 2 laagjes.

Opi It's my year and Orly Oui!
The opi has more warm tones and the Orly is a cooler
tone of purple. But still very similar, too bad that I Faye
was part of a giveaway not too long ago otherwise I would
have compared it too.

I was so curious about all the upcoming polishes that I went searching for the new and upcoming spring shades and made a collage out of the images. I can't wait for spring!

Ik was zo nieuwsgierig naar de nieuwe lentekleuren dat ik ben gaan speuren op het net en heb maar meteen een collage van alle lakken gemaakt, wordt helemaal blij van al die mooie zachte lentekleuren!
