Koh! Elements for summer 2012

Koh! Elements is inspired by the 4 elements of nature, Earth and leaf represent Earth, a tranquil brown shade and a bright green with the shade of fresh spring leaves. Heavenly and Cloudy represent air, think of a pretty pink evening sky with dreamy clouds. The soothing light turqouise Mediterranean sea stands for water and Fire, well I imagined an orange or red at first, but in a strange way this also reminds me of fire :) This collection is available from may 1st.

De Koh! Elements collectie draait om de 4 elementen van de natuur. Earth en leaf staan voor aarde, kalm bruin en fris groen dat doet denken aan de verse jonge blaadjes die in de lente tevoorschijn komen. Heavenly en Cloudy staan voor lucht, denk maar aan een mooie roze avondlucht met dromerige wolken. Het rustgevende lichte turqouise van Mediterranean sea staat voor water. Fire tenstlotte staat voor vuur, ik had eerder gedacht aan een rood of oranje, maar op een vreemde manier begrijp ik waarom deze kleur vuur moet uitbeelden, heel erg mooi. (lol) Maar serieus deze levendige blauwe lak is echt een knaller. Beauty Haul week 3 and 4

The last week I did a lot of cosmetics shopping, here's the result :) (Ps this does not happen often lol) I also updated my wardrobe with some sale items, more about the fashion later this week :)

De afgelopen 2week heb ik best veel cosmetica gekocht...hier is het resultaat :) (PS dit gebeurt niet zo heel vaak hoor lol :) Ook heb ik mijn garderobe even goed aangepakt, meer daarover later in de week :)

This brand has been available in Germany for a while now and
now Anny has reached the Netherlands. The display is
torture, I kept staring at it not being able to choose from so
many awesome shades. I still have at least a dozen more on my
wishlist.....These shades are (from left to right):

Douglas Absolute nails, Douglas now has her own range
of fashionable polishes for only 4,95 euro's. This is fireworks
(left) and Lena (right).

KOH! Laugh Limitless swatches

The most standout shade from Koh's Fall/winter collection is laugh limitless, a vibrant orange with a name that is one of my motto's. Laugh limitless...I think laughter is the best medicine in the world. Especially now the days are getting shorter and more and more people get sucked into the fall blues, keep laughing :) Just a little smile can make the difference ;) This is 2 coats and this shade totally 'pops'. Many will think wtf does a bright orange do in a fall collection, but for me this totally works, prozac on the nails! Count me in ;)

De meest knallende kleur van de herfst/wintercollectie van Koh! is Laugh Limitless een knaloranje met een naam die ik graag gebruik. Laugh Limitless...ik denk dat lachen het beste medicijn ter wereld is, zeker nu de dagen korter worden en veel mensen langzaam in de herfstdepressie gezogen worden, blijf lachen! Zelfs een kleine glimlach kan voor jezelf en een ander het verschil maken. Dit zijn 2 laagjes, velen zullen denken een knaloranje voor de herfst wtf?? Maar ik vind het helemaal te gek, prozac voor je nagels, ik doe mee! ;)

Five pictures is a lot, but when I was selecting pics I could not stop, I really really love this polish and I think it is the star of the collection (sorry blue lagoon). Vijf foto's is misschien veel maar toen ik fotos moest uitkiezen kon ik niet stoppen zo mooi vind ik deze kleur. Among the colors is the higly anticipated Blue Lagoon, and it is quite stunning :) All skittle swatches are 2 coats. Some people were discussing the name of this collection, because not all colors are in your face brights, but I guess that depends on what you define as bright, I think they meant the colors to be uplifting and "moodbrightening" (is that a word??) and in my opinion, these colors are very good for a bright mood ;) Full swatches coming soon, this collection is available now at Koh! dealers. goedemorgen! Vandaag heb ik fotos van de koh brights collectie voor je. Een van de kleuren is de langverwachte Blue Lagoon, maakt blue lagoon de verwachtingen waar??? Kijk en oordeel zelf ;) Alle skittle swatches zijn 2 laagjes, ik hoop snel de complete swatches te kunnen doen. Er is al wat discussie of je deze collectie een brights collectie mag noemen, naar mijn mening hoeft bright niet perse te staan voor superfelle knalkleuren, ik denk meer dat er met bright opbeurend en vrolijk bedoelt wordt, kleuren die een positieve stemming beïnvloeden.
