Upcoming 2012 spring polishes overview

I was so curious about all the upcoming polishes that I went searching for the new and upcoming spring shades and made a collage out of the images. I can't wait for spring!

Ik was zo nieuwsgierig naar de nieuwe lentekleuren dat ik ben gaan speuren op het net en heb maar meteen een collage van alle lakken gemaakt, wordt helemaal blij van al die mooie zachte lentekleuren!

shame on me...these have been on my computer since may....Funny thing is that I can see that my nails were in really bad shape back then. Peeling and brittle, I have the peeling under control now, but sometimes they are still quite hard and break at the skin...oh well...on with these swatches :) Two of these are from the spring 2011 collection. Sparitual polishes are of amazing quality and have a great range of shades. Let's check them out :) All swatches are 2 coats, no topcoat.

Ik schaam me diep...deze foto's staan als sinds mei op mn harde schijf.....wel grappig om te zien dat mijn nagels intussen behoorlijk zijn opgeknapt, ik had heel erg last van peeling nails, (kan je door de lak heen zien) en dat heb ik nu redelijk onder controle. Helaas zijn ze nog wel erg droog en breekt er nog wel eens eentje aan de huid af, maar het gaat al een stuk beter :) Twee van deze lakken komen uit de lentecollectie van 2011. Laat ik niet langer kletsen en doorgaan naar de swatches :) Alle swatches zijn 2 laagjes zonder topcoat. Sparitual is one of my favorite brands, the brand is vegan, animal friendly and they have some amazing shades. Greenhouse was part of a 2 polish set for earth day. Sparitual is een van mijn favoriete merken, dit merk is veganistisch, diervriendelijk en de collectie bevat hele mooie kleuren. Greenhouse zat samen met earth matters in een setje voor earth day. Dit is een mooie groene shimmer, je hebt wel 3 laagjes nodig voor een volledige dekking maar het resultaat is dat extra laagje zeker waard :) In nederland is sparitual verkrijgbaar via BT Nails en diverse salons en spa's. YAAWN this weather is making me sooo sleepy it has been raining all day... :(  This is greenhouse from sparitual, I got the 2 polish earth day set a while ago, and swatches them a while ago, but I am not sure about whether i like it or not. It is opaque in 2 coats, but remains a little matte and gritty which is nice if you like an edgy look, but I prefer shine and sparkle, so i have some pics with and without topcoat for you, to be honest, this is not my cup of tea. Good thing I have more sparituals coming up soon, and those I do love, this vegan brand deserves so much more love. The giveaway 3 more days, I really love all your great input, feedback and ideas and especially with this boring weather I love to dream away thinking of all those excellent holidays :) Have a great weekend! xoxo

Gaaaaaap dit weer is zooooo slaapverwekkend, het regent al de hele dag jakkie....:( Dit is Greenhouse van sparitual, deze lak zat samen met een andere groene lak in een setje voor earth day en de swatches stonden al even op mn harde schijf, maar ik weet nou niet zo goed wat ik hiervan moet vinden...De glitter is dekkend genoeg in 2 laagjes, maar hij is erg korrelig en een beetje mat als hij droog is wat op zich wel apart is, maar ik ben meer van glimmend en glanzend, dus voor mij was topcoat echt een vereiste. Ik heb fotos van de lak met en zonder topcoat, nu ik de foto's zo zie denk ik toch echt dat dit niet mijn ding is...jammer want het resultaat is best leuk maar ik ben er niet wild van. Gelukkig heb ik ook nog andere sparituals die ik je binnenkort wil laten zien en die zijn wel helemaal mijn ding. Oja, je kan nog 3 dagen meedoen aan de giveaway. Ik ben zo blij met alle suggesties, feedback en heerlijke vakantiebestemmingen, heb ik tenminste iets leuks om over weg te dromen met dit saaie weer. Fijn weekend! xoxo

Mavala art color spring collection: Blue Curaçao



this color looks like a dive in a laguna, or a tropical cocktail...
point here, it looks like summer! The hidden shimmer is fabulous
and the formula is opaque in 1 coat, but i did 2. Mavala
polishes rock! Don't let the small bottle (5 ml) fool you, you
will get a full size brush with that for even better application.
As I mentioned earlier, I am off to Eurodisney with my
little sister (23, sorry Jill haha) tomorrow,
so I won't be posting this weekend, so below you find some

Deze kleur ziet eruit als een duik in een tropische lagune, of
een heerlijke cocktail...kortom, deze kleur is op en top zomer!
De verborgen shimmer is prachtig en de kleur dekt in 1 laagje
maar uit gewoonte heb ik er 2 gedaan. Mavala lakken
zijn te gek! Laat het kleine flesje je niet van de wijs brengen
(5 ml) want er zit een full size kwastje in voor nog
snellere en makkelijkere applicatie. zoals ik al
eerder vermelde ga ik morgen met mijn kleine (ze is 23 haha)
 zusje naar Eurodisney dus ik zal dit weekend geen
blogberichtjes posten, maar dat maak ik volgende week weer
goed, kijk onderaan maar eens wat er allemaal aankomt....

pink Sparitual swatches & spring collections preview: Evolve and Truth

I got these 2 Sparituals as a gift a little while ago and I really love their philosophy and formula. These 2 colors are part of last octobers breast cancer awareness collection, and they were limited editions, but I still wanted to show them to you. The spring collections are available now, Truth has a vibrant colorful touch and Evolve has earthy neutal shades, I am still not sure which ones to get, I would love to get them all.....too bad my wallet disagrees :( Sparitual polishes are vegan and cruelty free, 2 more very good reasons to discover this amazing brand! Ik heb deze 2 Sparitual lakken een tijdje terug gekregen en ik ben echt helemaal fan van de fijne formule en de filosofie van dit mooie merk. Deze 2 lakken waren onderdeel van de breast cancer awarenesscollectie van afgelopen oktober. Dit waren limited editions maar ik wil ze toch even laten zien. De nieuwe lentecollecties zijn ook al verkrijgbaar, de Truth collectie bestaat uit felle stralende tinten en de evolve collectie zijn mooie neutrale lakken. Living in pink is a metallic chrome finished pink which looks
really awesome, but make sure your nails are even because imperfections
show (see my 3rd image...oops!)

The Truth collection offers 6 new creme shades which are all very spring appropriate and pretty, I think I need al 6 of them......My problem is january bankruptcy, when the great collections come out I have to be careful with what I spend boohoo, good thing there is a set of mini's available!!! So that is a way to get more colors, with less guilt.... ;) Sparitual is quite a guiltfree brand, the bottles are made out of recycled material and the formula is 100% vegan and free from DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde. Another thing, I have some issues with the intense debate comments (they just disappear...) I am now back to the bloggersystem, which also is not my favorite, so it's work in progress...to be continued.....

Deze 6 nieuwe prachtige kleurtjes zijn nu al in de VS verkrijgbaar, helaas kan ik je nog niet zeggen wanneer deze collectie in Nederland verkrijgbaar is, misschien maar beter ook want dan kan ik vast een beetje sparen want ik ben in januari meestal bankroet (helemaal na de bruiloft haha) dus de liquide middelen moeten even een beetje aangevuld worden voordat ik weer los mag (en ik ben altijd zoooo gek op de lentekleurtjes :( ). dus hopelijk kan ik ze eerdaags alle 6 aanschaffen want deze 6 cremelakken zijn helemaal mijn ding. Ik kan ook nog niet zeggen of de miniset in Nederland verkrijgbaar zal zijn maar zodra ik meer weet laat ik het je zeker weten. Sparitual is echt een heel erg mooi merk, de lakken zijn heel fijn qua formule maar ook de achterliggende gedachte is mooi, de flacons zijn van recyclemateriaal, de formule is 100% veganistisch en vrij van Toluene, DBP en Formaldehyde, altijd een prettig idee.
