De nailmania collecties van Pupa zijn altijd ontzettend leuk en de glittercollectie is ook helemaal geweldig. Zeker in deze tijd van het jaar kan het wat mij betreft niet genoeg glitteren, dus laat ik niet teveel kletsen en gewoon doorgaan naar de fotos. Pupa glitter nail polish in Fuchsia glitter is een vrij paarse fuchsia gelachtige lak met heel veel mooie glittertjes. De lak is wat dikker maar dat vind ik niet erg want dan heb je meteen een goede dekking en met het penseeltje kan je de lak goed over de nagel verdelen. Op de foto's zie je twee laagjes. Prachtig he?

The nailmania collections by Pupa are always so much fun and so is the Glitter collection. Especially this time of year I am in need of some sparkle, so let's get on to the pictures ;) Pupa Fuchsia glitter is a more purple pink coloured jelly base with dazzling glitters. The formula is a little on the thick side but I don't mind because that makes it more opaque. This is 2 coats in sunlight. Stunning right?

Ik heb onlangs Absolutely shore gekocht (deze kwam uit de zomercollectie van vorig jaar en ik heb geen idee waarom deze kleur mij nu pas opviel) en toen ik mijn nagels had gelakt was ik heel erg blij met de kleur maar er miste gewoon op dat moment iets...Ik had behoefte aan een beetje sparkle! Dus een beetje spark de triomphe op de toppen van mijn nagels maakte het plaatje compleet.

I recently purchased Absolutely shore (from last year's summer collection, I really don't know why I did not notice it before) and when I applied it to my nails I looooved the colour but there was something missing... I just needed a little sparkle! So here it is with Opi spark the Triomphe on the tips.

Ik wens jullie allemaal een fantastische jaarwisseling! A Swiss Burlesque mani

Today a dazzling combination of two gorgeous opi polishes, this is 2 coats of glitzerland topped wih 3 coats of bring on the bling, seriously can it get more sparkly? It felt like i dipped my nails in a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow this has new years eve written all over it...This manicure is not recomended when you have to operate heavy machinery, you might be distracted by these fabulous colours ;) Enjoy!

Vandaag een duizelingwekkende combinatie van 2 prachtige opi lakken, dit zijn 2 laagjes glitzerland en als topping 2 laagjes bring on the bling, even serieus, het kan bijna niet schitterender (hmmm is dat correcte spelling????) Het leek wel alsof ik mijn nagels in de pot met goud heb gedoopt die volgens legende onderaan de regenboog staat, dit is echt een mooie voor oud en nieuw. Deze manicure is niet aan te raden als je met zware machines werkt, het kan zomaar gebeuren dat je afgeleid wordt door al het glittergeweld ;) Enjoy!

OPI Burlesque gradient, A sparkle-icious Ogre......some funky swatches

The Burlesque glitters are quite captivating on their own, but what happens if you mix them with another color? I love to play with colors and effects :) Please e gentle, this is only my 2nd gradient attempt.For this mani I used 2 coats of Ogre the top blue and 2 gradient coats of Sparkle-icious.(start polishing from the top of the nail, first coat covers half the nail, 2nd coat only the top) I think Funky dunky will make an excellent base as well. I also did an extremely blinged out gradient with a swiss polish and a Burlesque so stay tuned ;) Enjoy!

Nog even en ze zijn verkrijgbaar, de onweerstaanbare Burlesque lakken van Opi, de swatches komen snel maar ik wou jullie eerst deze combi laten zien. De Burlesque glitters zijn op zichzelf al adembenemend, maar wat gebeurt er als ze worden gecombineerd met andere kleuren? Ik vind het heerlijk om te spelen met kleuren en effecten :) Wees mild, dit is mijn  tweede gradient experiment :) Voor deze manicure heb ik 2 laagjes Ogre the top blue en 2 gradient laagjes sparkle-icious gebruikt (lak vanaf de top van je nagel, lak eerst de helft en met het volgende laagje alleen de top) Funky dunky is volgens mij ook een mooie om deze gradient mee te doen. Ik heb ook een superbling variant gemaakt met een Swiss lak en een Burlesque beauty...wordt vevolgd! Enjoy!

WK Oranges part 1 Opi flit a bit, CG dreamsicle and Koh Dutch!

  












Omdat ik het WK niet helemaal wil (en kan...zucht...) negeren doen we een rondje oranje lakken, ook al is het geen WK van een oranje lak moet je wel vrolijk worden :) De eerste is Opi flit a bit uit de summer flutter collectie, feloranje creme, deze oranje laat de leeuw zeker niet in zijn hempie staan. De lak dekt in 2 soepele laagjes. Dus ook handig als je haast hebt en nog even de oranje puntjes op de i wil zetten;)
Als dit niet spectaculair genoeg is voegen we een laagje China glaze dreamsicle toe aan de 2 laagjes flit a bit en ohlala, met zulke nagels wordt je zeker het stadion uitgezet want niemand kijkt nog naar de bal! Dreamsicle is een oranje jelly met oogverblindende glitters in alle kleuren, het kan natuurlijk gebeuren dat je de hele wedstrijd naar je nagels kijkt.....Last but not least Koh Dutch! Dit is echt een oranje statement op je nagels, fel en vurig, menig voetbalvrouw zal naast je verbleken (sorry Syl en Yo).

Because I don't want to (and can't....sigh...) ignore the Fifa world cup let's do a round of oranges shall we? even tough there is no world cup, oranges always make me happy :) The first one is Opi flit a bit from the summer flutter collection, this bright orange does not leave the lion standing in his tanktop (huh that sounds weird oh well Dutch humour...) This one has great coverage in 2 smooth coats so great when you are in a rush and need to finish with an (orange) cherry on top of your fab soccer look. When this is not fab enough to your taste let's add one coat of China glaze dreamsicle and you will be kicked out of the stadium because all will look at your nails instead of the ball ;) Dreamsicle is an orange jelly with shiny glitters in all colors, in case of a boring match, just stare at your nails, satisfaction guaranteed. And last but certainly nog least Koh Dutch! This creates orange statement nails in 2 smooth coats and with these this feisty fiery orange all those glamorous Wags will look like plain average Janes (sorry Syl and Yo) Check these beauties out, I only used polish for these swatches no top or basecoat (bad girl) Enjoy!
