Royal effem Mediterranean flavors

Royal effem neemt je deze zomer mee naar de mediterraneé. Ik vind dit een hele toffe collectie, wat alleen jammer is is dat je zulke mooie bestemmingen eigenlijk niet in één collectie kan stoppen. Ze hadden er dus wat mij betreft wel een tijdje mee vooruit kunnen werken, de romantische Provence voor de lente, chic Positiano in de zomer en mooi warm Andalusië voor de herfscollectie. Ach nu hebben we alles in één keer ;) De nagellakjes zijn van super kwaliteit en beide kleuren zijn heel warm en zonnig (wat ik eerlijk gezegd niet meteen van de bruine lak had verwacht) en het resultaat is heel mooi, check de swatches onderaan. De oogschaduw en lipgloss swatches volgen snel. Royal Effem is verkrijgbaar bij de schoonheidsspecialist. Ik twijfel toch nog of ik niet ook voor de andere 2 oogschaduwduo's ga...ik speel graag op safe met taupe, maar die blauwe en lila zijn toch wel errug mooi...Typisch hoe die Italiaanse merken mij toch elke keer weer verleiden...

Royal Effem takes you on a journey trough the mediterranean this summer. I really like this collection but if I would have created it I would have given each destination a collection of its own. Romantic Provence for spring, Chic Positiano for summer and warm Andalucia for fall. Oh well now we have them all at once ;) The nailpolishes have an excellent formula and the shades I got are so warm and sunny (I took a chance on the brown but it really surprised me, the gold shimmers make it very nice for a summer pedi) See swatches below. The eyeshadow and lipgloss swatches are coming soon. Royal Effem is a brand that is available at salons. The blue and lavender eyeshadow are still on my mind, I usually play safe with taupe shades, maybe I have to step out of my comfort zone...typical how those Italian brands seduce me over and over again....

while watching some music videos on tv, I spotted Shakira's orange tips in her Loca loca video and I could not keep my eyes of them. So I went searching for that striking orange and Opi a good man-darin is hard to find was the perfect match. Tijdens videoclipjes kijken spotte ik Shakira's knaloranje nagels in de Loca Loca video en ik kon mn ogen er niet vanaf houden, wat een kleur! some more world cup oranges

Ojee...Nederland zit nog steeds in de running of becoming the world's next top models uhm.... wereldkampioen voetbal dan.... dus vandaag nog een paar mooie oranje lakken die het ook heel goed doen als ze het morgen niet redden tegen Brazilië maar daar gaan we maar niet van uit :)

Uhoh the Netherlands are still in the running of becoming the world's next top models...uhm okay world soccer champion..so today let's do some more pretty oranges that will still be pretty when the Netherlands lose their cool against Brazil, but let's not assume that :)

Koh Flamingo
Feeling Matt matt matt ole ole ole ole....uhm door deze kleur zit dat zomerse liedje in mn hoofd.... maar das ook logisch met dit tropische koraalrood in matte uitvoering, dit zijn 2 laagjes en ik zou het eerder satijnfinish noemen dan echt mat maar dit is (naar mijn bescheiden mening) mooier dan echt mat, lastig te omschrijven maat het oogt heel zacht en de satijnglans geeft deze kleur een echte glow.

Feeling Matt matt matt ole ole ole ole...uhm now I can't get this song out of my head...but that happens when you see this tropical coral with matte finish, altough to my humble opinion it is more satin than mat finish and this is so much prettier than real chalky matte, it's kinda hard to describe but it looks so soft and glowy.

Essie Capri
Deze heb ik voor de naam gekocht( ik wil zooo graag nog eens naar Capri) maar ik vind de kleur ook echt heeel mooi. Bij Capri denk ik aan limoncello, zon, zee en een flinke dosis italiaanse chic, deze oranjerode creme is een echte eyecatcher.

I got this one for the name (I would looove to go to Capri once...) but I also really like this color! Capri makes me think of sun, sea, limoncello and italian chic, this red-orange stunner is a real eyecather!

Sparitual Treasure
Dit is kantje boord, maar nog net een oranje met waanzinnig mooie shimmer, klik zeker even op de afbeelding voor de vergroting voor meer kijkgenot.

WK Oranges part 1 Opi flit a bit, CG dreamsicle and Koh Dutch!

  












Omdat ik het WK niet helemaal wil (en kan...zucht...) negeren doen we een rondje oranje lakken, ook al is het geen WK van een oranje lak moet je wel vrolijk worden :) De eerste is Opi flit a bit uit de summer flutter collectie, feloranje creme, deze oranje laat de leeuw zeker niet in zijn hempie staan. De lak dekt in 2 soepele laagjes. Dus ook handig als je haast hebt en nog even de oranje puntjes op de i wil zetten;)
Als dit niet spectaculair genoeg is voegen we een laagje China glaze dreamsicle toe aan de 2 laagjes flit a bit en ohlala, met zulke nagels wordt je zeker het stadion uitgezet want niemand kijkt nog naar de bal! Dreamsicle is een oranje jelly met oogverblindende glitters in alle kleuren, het kan natuurlijk gebeuren dat je de hele wedstrijd naar je nagels kijkt.....Last but not least Koh Dutch! Dit is echt een oranje statement op je nagels, fel en vurig, menig voetbalvrouw zal naast je verbleken (sorry Syl en Yo).

Because I don't want to (and can't....sigh...) ignore the Fifa world cup let's do a round of oranges shall we? even tough there is no world cup, oranges always make me happy :) The first one is Opi flit a bit from the summer flutter collection, this bright orange does not leave the lion standing in his tanktop (huh that sounds weird oh well Dutch humour...) This one has great coverage in 2 smooth coats so great when you are in a rush and need to finish with an (orange) cherry on top of your fab soccer look. When this is not fab enough to your taste let's add one coat of China glaze dreamsicle and you will be kicked out of the stadium because all will look at your nails instead of the ball ;) Dreamsicle is an orange jelly with shiny glitters in all colors, in case of a boring match, just stare at your nails, satisfaction guaranteed. And last but certainly nog least Koh Dutch! This creates orange statement nails in 2 smooth coats and with these this feisty fiery orange all those glamorous Wags will look like plain average Janes (sorry Syl and Yo) Check these beauties out, I only used polish for these swatches no top or basecoat (bad girl) Enjoy!

Sparitual Treasure

Treasure wauw....kijk zelf maar het is gewoon echt een hele gave kleur die ergens tussen oranje en geel zit met een geweldige shimmer. In het flesje leek het niet bijzonder maar ik ga deze lak heel heel vaak dragen.
Hoop dat je een lekker weekend hebt, hier schijnt de zon zo fijn, daar doet treasure mij aan denken, het stralende zonnetje, wat een vrolijk lakje, therapie in een flesje zal ik maar zeggen ;)

Treasure...wow! Look yourself it is an awesome color somewhere between yellow and orange packed with loads of shimmer. In the bottle it did not look so special but on the nail it is i am going to wear this one a lot!
Hope you are having a great weekend! The sun is shining out here it feels so good, that's what treasure reminds me of, sunshine, a happy shimmery color, therapy in a bottle ;)

Na een aantal hele lieve reacties op het vegetarische stukje in het vorige blogje overweeg ik om ook wat stukjes over eten te doen en dan met name mijn beste vegetarische recepten is dat een idee???

ps geniet van de zon maar vergeet niet jezelf te beschermen tegen de huidverouderende UVA en verbrandingsveroorzaker UVB (auwauw) te beschermen er zijn zoveel heerlijke smeerseltjes met shimmers (ja daar ben ik weer met mijn shimmers...) en lekkere geurtjes, wees ook niet bang om een lekkere hoge factor te smeren, je kleurtje zal er alleen maar mooier en duurzamer van worden.

ps enjoy the sun but don't forget to protect yourself againts the aging UVA and burning UVB (auch) rays of the sun. there are so many great products out there with pretty shimmers (i know...can't get enough of the shimmers...) and lovely scents don't be afraid to get a high spf it will make your tan look better and last longer.

Orange beauty: KOH! Dutch

Deze prachtige oranje lak (echt niet alleen voor het WK en koninginnedag) maken van je manicure echt een style statement. Het is een levendig warm oranje. Het was even wennen maar nu wil ik m er voorlopig niet afhalen. Ik denk dat dit een type kleur is a la zoya paz, maar dit is geen neon, gewoon een prachtige eenvoudig te lakken cremelak met hoogglans.

This gorgeous orange polish (not only for Queensday and the world soccer championship) will create a total stylish statement on your nails. It's a vibrant warm orange i had to get used to it, but now i don't want to take it off my nails. I think it comes close to zoya paz, but this is no neon, just a beautifull easy to apply highshine creme.
