Orly Pin up summer 2011 collection, giveaway winner & upcoming stuff
Here's a little preview of Orly's Upcoming summer collection, (which I found on Karianne's great blog :)these shades are not really what pops into my mind when I think of pin-ups (I am one...wel in ink actually on my husbands leg, bet you did not expect that from me :) but these are some awesome summer shades, so I am okay with that, I do hope that the pink and coral are not true matte neons, but creme finishes, I don't like neons that much.....I also added soms pics of stuff I am currently swatching, the sun is out again, so I am abusing my cutlicles one more day ;) And last but not least, I guess it's time to announce the giveaway winner :) Thanks to all for entering, I really love to see where you are all from, makes this big world a little smaller don't you think? Hier een klein voorproefje van Orly's Pin up zomercollectie,(ik kwam dit berichtje tegen op de Blog van Karianne :) deze kleuren schieten mij nou niet meteen te binnen als ik aan Pin ups denk (ik ben er zelf eentje...nou ja in inkt dan....mijn echtgenoot heeft een tattoo van mij op zn been had je niet verwacht he ;) maar het zijn wel hele gave kleurtjes voor de zomer. Hoop alleen dat de koraal en roze tint geen echte matte neons zijn, ik vind een beetje kleur wel leuk maar neon op de nagels vind ik voor mij een beetje too much (van knijpen met je ogen krijg je rimpels en met neons kan ik niet naar mn nagels kijken hahahaha) Ik heb ook maar wat foto's geplaats van de lakken die ik nu aan het swatchen ben (jaaaaa de zon schijnt weer!) en last but not least...tijd om de giveaway winnares aan te kondigen..... Opi layered Texas sorbet finishes & giveaway reminder
Good moooornin' When I woke up there was sunshine so I jumped out of bed to take the dachsies for a sunny walk, but once outside.....fog....so weird....So let's create some sunshine on our own with 2 of the Sorbet finish polishes from the Texas collection. I used 2 coats of a similar color as base and finished the mani with 2 coats of sorbet polish. (4 coats seems a lot but my nails are happy with all the support they can get at this time...) Big hair big nails is layered over one of my all time favorites, Cajun shrimp. Y'all come back ya hear is layered over flit a bit. These two happened to be excellent matches, but I can also imagine YCBYH over a good man-darin is hard to find or any other orange for extra shine and candy coated tips.

Toen ik wakker werd scheen er een heerlijk zonnetje naar binnen dus ik sprong uit bed om lekker met de teckels in het zonnetje te wandelen, maar eenmaal buiten liep ik in de mist....huh...vreemd... Dus er zit niets anders op dan zelf maar wat zon te creëren en dat doe ik vandaag met 2 van de sorbet finish lakken van Opi's Texas collectie. Ik heb voor dit resultaat 2 laagjes cremelak gebruikt en 2 laagjes sorbet als finishing touch.Vier laagjes lijkt misschien veel, maar mijn nagels kunnen na deze extreme koude winter alle hulp en kunstmatige stevigheid goed gebruilen. Voor Big hair big nails heb ik mijn all time favorite Cajun shrimp als basis gebruikt. Voor Y'all come back ya hear is Flit a bit de basis, Flit a bit en cajun shrimp liggen erg dicht bij de Texas kleurtjes, maar ik kan me goed voorstellen dat YCBYH ook mooi is over een andere oranje tint, zoals a good man-darin is hard to find. Kijk je even mee naar de swatches, met deze combinaties krijg je echt snoepnagels! Ik heb Guy Meets Gal-veston, Too Hot Pink to Hold 'Em, Do You Think I'm Tex-y? ook maar snel op mijn verlanglijstje gezet....
De Texas Collection zal verkrijgbaar zijn vanaf medio februari 2011. OPI producten zijn verkrijgbaar bij een selectie van gerenommeerde beautycentra, drogisten en parfumeriezaken.
