Easter inspiration

Je zal maar aan de lijn zijn en een artikel aan het schrijven zijn over al dat paaslekkers....beetje jammer van mezelf om vorige week te starten met een vrij streng regime, alhoewel streng, dat valt heus wel mee. Maar aangezien ik watertandend achter mijn beeldscherm zit heb ik besloten om naast al dat chocoladelekkers ook wat andere leuke items in de paassfeer in het artikel te verwerken om te voorkomen dat ik tijdens het in elkaar knutselen van dit artikel aan mijn beeldscherm begin te knabbelen.

Imagine being on a diet and writing a blogpost about easter delights....big fail from me to start watching my calorie intake two weeks before easter but it had to be done. But since I am drooling over all these goodies, I also added some other things to this blogpost to keep my sanity and prevent myself from nibbling on my monitor.

Australian homemade 

Australian voor Albert Heijn excellent

Aangezien ik geen Australian in de buurt heb dacht ik slim te zijn door twee van de eieren uit het Albert Heijn excellent assortiment te kopen. Fout!!!! De eieren hadden een muffig smaakje, absoluut niet wat ik van Australian gewend ben. Volgende keer laat ik de chocolade in de AH links liggen want ik vond hun excellent paaseitjes ook al tegenvallen...of ben ik gewoon hartstikke verwend??? Volgende keer toch maar gewoon online bestellen of langs in één van de Australian Homemade boutiques www.australianhomemade.com

I don't have an Australian Homemade boutique near me I decided to try some of the easter eggs they produced for Albert Heijn supermarkets. Wrong!!! The eggs had a moldy taste to them, maybe it was due to the boxes they were in but it was not good. Next time I will skip AH chocolates because their Excellent eggs were also disappointing, or am I just extremely spoiled??? Next time I will go to one of the Australian Homemade boutiques or order some goodies online www.australianhomemade.com

Ocoo beautydrink 

Al dat heerlijks moet natuurlijk ook ergens mee weggespoeld worden. En net als met chocola ben ik ook qua drankjes erg verwend. Ik hou vooral van zoet en van bubbels. De Puclavec Moscato is een nieuwe aanwinst binnen het Puclavec assortiment, hun Demi-sec is al favoriet, dus ben erg nieuwsgierig naar de zoete Moscato. In mijn koelkast ligt altijd een fles gekoelde Limoncello, Pallini en Villa Massa hebben de voorkeur. Wil je eens echt iets bijzonders? Ga dan eens voor een Ruinart of Tattinger champagne, tuurlijk, niks mis met Moët maar als je echt iets chics wilt ga je voor bubbels van één van deze prestigieuze champagnehuizen.

Een recente ontdekking van mij is de caloriearme ( 48 per flesje) beautydrink Ocoo die oa cranberry, acaï en granaatappel bevat en zorgt voor anti-aging van binnenuit. Mijn eerste associatie was de cosmopolitan cocktail, dus wil je de negatieve werking van de alcohol tegengaan, doe dan een scheutje Belvedere citrus vodka (minder calorieën dan triple-sec) in je Ocoo en serveer in een mooi martiniglas. Beetje valsspelen maar wel lekker, Cheers!

Of course all those delicious chocolates need something to swim in. I love sweet and bubbly. The Puclavec moscato is new and I am very curious about that because I am a big fain or their demi-sec. I always have a bottle of Limoncello in my fridge, I prefer Pallini and Villa Massa. Want something extra special? Try champagne from Tattinger or Ruinart. Sure, nothing wrong with Moët but if you want something posh go for the delicious bubbels of these two prestigious champagne brands. 

A recent discovery is the low calorie (48 per bottle) beautydrink Ocoo which contains cranberry, acaï and pomegranate which has anti-aging benefits. At my first sip it reminded me of a cosmopolitan but there was something missing. Well just ad some Belvedere citrus vodka (less calories than triple sec) and serve in a martini glass. It's low calorie and the anti oxidants compensate for the aging effects of alcohol..er is this cheating? oh well Cheers!

Le Creuset heeft een heel leuk assortiment espressokopjes, keramieken minipotjes en mokken die zeker niet zullen misstaan op de paastafel. De potjes staan al een tijdje op mijn verlanglijstje, ze zijn er in enorm veel leuke kleuren.

Weer eens wat anders dan een ei van chocolade is dit paasei van Babor. Het Babor paasei bevat 14 kostbare Babor fluids. Met deze ampullenkuur van twee weken intensieve verzorging begint je huid de lente in ieder geval stralend.

Naast het heerlijks van Godiva vind je op gift.be ook heel veel paaslekkers van Neuhaus en Corné port Royal. En wat vind je van deze prachtige lenteboeketten? Ik vind het bright bloemstuk echt enorm mooi, wat een prachtige kleuren.

Daskalidès easter chocolates 

Ook Daskalidès heeft weer allerlei paaslekkers in het assortiment, ik ben alleen een beetje gefrustreerd.. Ik was onlangs in Hasselt omdat ik enorm graag de pralines van Daskalidès eens wou proeven, maar ondanks dat ik het adres in google maps had ingegeven kon ik de winkel niet vinden....vreemd...toen kwam ik tijdens mijn zoektocht Boon chocolaterie tegen. Ach uiteindelijk had ik mijn portie cacao om mee naar huis te nemen maar vond het toch jammer.

Daskalidès also offers a lot of special easter items, but I am a little frustrated...a while ago I was in Hasselt looking for their shop and I just could not find it (despite google maps). On my search for the boutique I ran in some other shops so I got my chocolate fix but I will have to try to find them another time...
