Clarins Ombre minérale 4 couleurs 10 Iris blossom

Deze lente zijn het vooral de pastels die regeren in make-up land. Daarom was ik zo verrast door de diepe kleuren in het Clarins oogpalette. De combinatie van dieppaars, taupe,wit en zwart zorgt voor een mystieke oosterse oogopslag, wat wel weer heel erg mooi is in combinatie met de zachte kleuren voor de lippen.

This spring pastels reign in make-up land so this dark mystique Clarins palette immediately caught my eye. The combination of these shades creates a mysterious almost 1001 night look which is gorgeous for spring when combined with the light shades for the lips.

De oogschaduws geven veel kleur af (de witte is vrij subtiel maar dat is ook de bedoeling, die moet niet te dekkend zijn) en de paarse en taupe zijn hele mooie shimmers. Ik heb braaf de bijgeleverde instructies opgevolgd en een beetje van mezelf toegevoegd. Kijk je even mee?

The eyeshadows are good in pigmentation (except for the white one which is sheer, but it is supposed to be like that) and the purple and taupe are lovely shimmers. I followed the instructions and added a little of my own, let's check it out. 

Eerst breng je de Taupe kleur aan van de binnenste ooghoek tot halverwege het ooglid. De paarse gaat van de buitenste ooghoek tot halverwege het ooglid. Ik heb een blending brush gebruikt om de twee tinten mooi in elkaar over te laten lopen.

First you apply the taupe from the inner corner to halfway the eyelid, the purple goes from the outer corner to the middle of the eyelid. I used a blending brush to blend the two. 

De Witte kleur gaat onder de wenkbrauw en in de binnenste ooghoek. Tenslotte het zwarte lijntje (die ik daarna wel een beetje heb uitgevaagd zoals je kan zien) ook heb ik de paarse en taupekleurige oogschaduw onder het oog aangebracht voor net een beetje extra glamour.

Apply the white shade below the brow (I also applied it in the inner corner of the eye and used a hint of purple and taupe below the eye for a little extra glam) The black is used as an eyeliner, I faded it a little so all colours blend well together. 

Nog een beetje bruine mascara, wat blenden en voilá!

Finally a touch of brown mascara, a little more blending and voilá! 

Ik heb de kleuren droog aangebracht en geen primer gebruikt, zo zie je hoe de kleuren zijn als ze op de minst intense wijze worden aangebracht. Als je een primer gebruikt en/of de kleuren vochtig aanbrengt dan heb je helemaal een mooi dramatisch en uitgesproken resultaat.

I used the eyeshadows dry and also did not use a primer so you can see the intensity of the shades without any extra help. If you would use the shades wet or with primer the effect will be even more dramatic and intense.

Het resultaat is een zwoele oogmake-up, dit is de make-up die voor de avond wordt geadviseerd, maar als je de rest van je look rustig houd is dit ook heel mooi voor overdag. Dit mooie limited edition palette is onderdeel van de lentelook van Clarins.

The result is a sultry eye make-up, this look is advised for evening but when you keep the rest of your look modest, you can totally work this as a daytime make-up. This stunning palette is limited edition and part of the Clarins spring look.
