Collistar Talasso scrub 

Ik weet niet precies hoe lang Collistar al in Nederland verkrijgbaar is, maar toen ik nog op Schiphol in de See buy fly parfumerie werkte holde ik na mijn dienst altijd naar de winkels voor de douane waar Collistar verkocht werd. (Ter info, dit is 12 jaar geleden...) Collistar bestaat dit jaar 30 jaar en ik denk dat hun meest iconische product toch wel de Talasso scrub is.

I am not sure how long Collistar is available in the Netherlands, but when I worked in the tax free Perfumery at Schiphol airport I used to go to the perfumery on the other side of customs after my shift because they sold Collistar (that was 12 years ago) Collistar exists 30 years now and I am sure their most iconic product is the Talasso scrub. 

De Talasso scrub is ook niet zomaar een scrubje, maar liefst 90 (!) soorten zeezout die verschillende korrelgroottes hebben in combinatie met plantaardige oliën en essentiele aromatische oliën maken van een scrub behandeling in je eigen badkamer een heuse belevenis. Deze scrub is een feestje voor je lichaam en zintuigen. Die zintuigen zullen ook heel blij worden als je verkouden bent, mijn ervaring is namelijk dat mijn luchtwegen tijdens het gebruiken van deze scrub meteen weer helemaal vrijkomen.

The Talasso scrub is a blend of 90 (!) sea salts of various sizes and nourishing essential oils. These ingredients make an exfoliating session in your own bathroom a deluxe and reviving experience. This scrub is not only pure bliss for the skin, the dynamic scent is an instant moodlifter. I also find that the scent clears my airways, even when I have a cold. 

Meng de zouten goed door de olie met de spatel en de scrub verwijdert dode huidcellen en geeft de huid meteen een enorme boost. Je mag de scrub op een droge huid gebruiken voor een hardcore effect of op een vochtige huid voor een wat mildere aanpak. Mijn billen en dijen krijgen altijd een heftige aanpak, lekker voor de doorbloeding en om de cellulitis even goed te laten schrikken (be gone evil cellulite!).

Mix the oils and salts with the spatula and let the scrub remove dead skin cells and boost your skin. You can use the scrub on a dry skin for a hardcore session, or go for a more gentle approach and use it on damp skin. I love to really give it to my derrière extraordinaire and thighs the hardcore way to stimulate circulation and scare away the cellulite (be gone evil cellulite!). 

Ik neem altijd een klein plastic tupperware bakje mee onder de douche waar ik dan wat scrub in doe (zo komt er geen water in mijn pot). Neem voor elke zone een kleine hoeveelheid scrub in je handpalm en masseer lekker stevig in, de korrels zijn goed voelbaar en zo heb ik mijn scrub graag. Spoel af en voel hoe alle zorgen van je af glijden....niet allemaal natuurlijk maar de term Thalassotherapie speaks for itself ;) Ik kan de wereld altijd iets beter aan na een stevige scrubsessie. Na het scrubben voelt je huid zijdezacht aan en door de oliën heb je eigenlijk geen bodylotion nodig.

Extra fijn is dat deze megapot van 700 gram lekker lang meegaat en dat voor een prijs waarvoor je bij andere parfumeriemerken de helft aan product krijgt. Zowiezo zijn de maxi size producten van Collistar een goede investering. Er is nu ook tijdelijk een kleiner 'standaard' formaat van 300 gram voor €25,37 de megapot van 700 gram kost je €49,15*

I always put an amount of scrub in a little tupperware container and take that with me under the shower (so no water can come in the big jar). Take a small amount of scrub in the palm of your hand and apply to one zone at the time. Rinse and feel how all worries go down the drain with the dead skin cells, well okay, this does not cure all worries and problems. But I always feel I am more capable of handling things after a thorough scrub session. Why do you think it is called thalasso therapy ;) After exfoliating your skin will feel seriously silky smooth and skipping bodylotion won't be an issue. 

The scrub comes in a supersize jar of 700 grams. Regular perfumery brands offer half the product for thesame price. Collistar offers many supersize body products for very good prices. Collistat currently offers a promo 300 gram size for 25,37. The huge 700 gram Talasso scrub retails for 49,15*

Hoewel ik geen bodylotion gebruik op mijn armen en benen na het scrubben, is je huid na het gebruik van deze scrub nog beter in staat om verzorgende en eventueel afslankende bodyproducten op te nemen, profiteer hier dus van als je deze zones wil aanpakken. Collistar is namelijk een ware expert op het gebied van anticellulite en een steviger en strakker lijf. Ik ben groot fan van de firming shower oil en abdomen en hip treatment, deze is speciaal ontwikkeld voor de lovehandles ofwel muffintops en zadeltassen. De treatment wordt heel warm om waardoor de microcirculatie wordt gestimuleerd zodat het product nog effectiever is.

Altough you can skip the bodylotion after exfoliating, applying a product on exfoliated skin will be more effective, so benefit from this and apply a bodyproduct to zones which needs reshaping or some anti-cellulite action. Collistar is a true expert when it comes to slimming and anti-cellulite. I am a big fan of their firming shower oil and abdomen and hip treatment. The treatment will warm up your skin to stimulate the micro circulation which makes the product even more effective to attack those stubborn muffintops and saddlebags.
