Disney Pixar presents: Brave

Het zonnetje laat ons een beetje in de steek deze zomer dus ik ben al begonnen om mijn Disney dvd collectie weer eens te bekijken (gisteren Hercules, wat een fantastische film is dat toch!) en over een paar nachtjes is er een nieuwe Pixar film in de bioscoop te bewonderen, ook in 3D. Brave verteld het verhaal van Merida, een opstandige jongedame die een huwelijkskandidaat moet kiezen maar dat niet helemaal ziet zitten. Ze sluit een deal met een heks om haar lot te veranderen, maar dat pakt een beetje verkeerd uit. Brave speelt zich af in het schitterende Schotland en de Pixar animators hebben zichzelf overtroffen met de schitterende decors en het mystieke sfeertje. Deze film bevat enorm veel komische momenten en uiteraard het stukje wat Disney films zo uniek maakt, ik was blij dat ik een 3D bril ophad want ik zat flink te snikken en snotteren. Brave draait vanaf 18 juli in de bioscoop. Ik heb ontzettend van de film genoten en ik kan niet wachten om Brave nog een keertje te kijken

The sun has abandoned us this summer so I am already working my way trough my Disney dvd collection (watched Hercules yesterday, what a great movie it is!) and in a few days there is a brand new Pixar movie in cinemas. (US readers are lucky it has been released there already;) Brave is also available in 3D. Brave tells the story of Merida, a young girl becoming woman who has to choose a husband but does not want to. She finds a witch and makes a deal with her to change her fate, but the result was not what she was expecting. The movie decor is the beautiful Scotland and the Pixar animators have done an awesome job with the decor and creating a mysterious atmosphere. This movie has countless funny moments and of course, the true Disney element, I was happy to be wearing 3D shades because the tears were unstoppable. Brave is in cinemas from july 18th here. I really love this movie and I can't wait to see it again.
