deze week ook eens foto's maken van deze lak met een laagje
topcoat want volgens mij zit er een shimmer in die ontdekt wil
worden :)



Pupa 908 Royal Flush Pearly grey
Deep grey, this is more pearl finish than metallic, very beautiful.

Diepgrijze lak met een finish die eerder pearl is dan metallic,
erg mooi en net weer even anders dan de meeste donkergrijze
lakken.



Sally Hansen Xtreme wear pacific blue

I took these pics in the summer but never posted these, not a clue why..now that I see these pictures I really miss summer...I see the beauty of fall going into winter and LOVE X-mas but I am still a summer person :) This was 2 effortless coats and it almost looks like I edited the color (trust me I never do that I don't even know how lol) but this polish is as bright as the picture shows. This is summertime in a bottle, a blessing on grey dull days :)




My visit to the salon & asking for your opinion :)

Today was a busy day, I finally went to see Mika to have my highlights done (YAY they look stunning) and I also checked out some dresses but I am not sure about these 2. The first one is a red Karen Millen dress, you know I am a little phobic of red but I wanted to try something different for a change, so I tried it on. My question to you, is this okay or is the red too much with my blonde hairdo and curves? I don't want to look like I tried too hard, I am always a little insecure when it comes to that. The second one is a black dres from Ted Baker, I really really like it, but I already have a dozen of LBD's, but this one is very cute, so I am tempted. What do you think dear readers? I always value your opinions so I am really curious what you think about these 2 dresses :) I am going out tonight for dinner so I have to hurry now, have a fabulous weekend darlings! xoxo

Vandaag was een druk dagje, ik moest eerst naar Mika voor verse highlights (ze zijn zooooo mooi yay!) en ik ben meteen even over de modeafeling gerend voor een paar jurkjes. Nu zijn er 2 waar ik ernstig over twijfel, de eerste is een rode Karen Millen en je weet dat ik een beetje een fobie heb voor rood, maar ik wou eens uit mn comfort zone stappen en wat nieuws proberen. Mijn vraag aan jou is, kan dit wel of is het too much bij mij met mn blonde coupe en curves? Ik wil er ook niet behoeftig uitzien, het moet geen Jersey shore worden lol. De 2e is een zwarte strapless van Ted Baker, ik vind dit jurkje echt te cute, maar ik heb al tig zwarte jurkjes (al kan je er niet genoeg van hebben toch???) Dus ik ben heel benieuwd naar jouw mening, ik ga vanavond gezellig uit eten dus ik moet NU echt gaan opschieten, maar wens je een fabulous weekend darling! xoxo

Just let the pictures do the talking shall we? This is 2 coats of a super fun jelly packed with various glitters. I did not expect to like this as much as I do, I love this! :) This is a bargain and a very unique shade. Grab it while you can ;)

Laten we de foto's maar voor zich spreken :) Dit zijn 2 laagjes van een superleuke jelly die vol zit met allerlei glitters. Ik had niet verwacht deze lak zo leuk te vinden, ik ben er helemaal weg van, de Essence lakjes zijn heel voordelig geprijsd dus zorg zeker dat deze unieke lak in je stash terechtkomt ;)

Professionals Pronails nailpolish 256 swatches & winter collections

Professionails is a Belgian brand for Nail-, Hand -and Footcareproducts for salons. The professionals products are available worldwide, check availability at www.professionails.com This winter they created 3 collections, La Chasse, Le Diner and Sacred. The polish I am going to show you is from the La Chasse collection. I absolutely dislike their promo picture, I know fur is getting more and more in style but not for me. I love my natural nails but I want fluffy fur only when it's 100% polyester :) But back to the polish, this was a medium greyish blue with a formula that required 3 coats, but has a great glossy finish. (Formula reminded me a little of Essie's north folk formula's) It's a very unique shade and I really like it, I am sure I will try more Pronails polishes soon, there are enough to choose from :)

Professionails is een Belgisch merk dat Nail-, Hand -and Footcare producten maakt voor de professionele salon en consument. De producten zijn verkrijgbaar bij de Professionails salons en via http://www.professionails.com/ . Voor deze winter zijn er maar liefst 3 collecties, La Chasse, Le diner en Sacred. Het lakje dat ik je wil laten zien komt uit de La Chasse collectie. (Ik vind de collectie prachtig maar de promofoto staat me erg tegen, ik weet dat bont steeds meer terrein wint, maar ik vind het nog steeds not done. Ik hou van mijn natuurlijke nagels, maar eventueel pluizig bont wil ik alleen als het 100% syntetisch is :) Maar terug naar het onderwerp, de lak is ietsje aan de dunne kant en heeft 3 laagjes nodig voor een dekkend resultaat (lak is een beetje gelijk aan de formule van Essie's north fork collectie) maar is wel heel mooi van glans. Het is een bijzondere kleur en ik ga deze vaak dragen, ik zal zeker meer lakken van dit merk laten zien, maar heb wel een probleempje...Het is moeilijk kiezen.... :)

One of my all time favorite brands is L'occitane, when you walk into one of their boutiques you are emerged in the atmosphere of the Provence. They offer a wide range of products, haircare, skincare, bodycare, perfumes, fragrances for the home and cosmetics. Their Verveine range is great in the summer, I love the verbena shower gel on hot days and their shea butter line rocks. This holiday they have 2 new lines, Délice des fruits and Délice de fleurs. Délice de fleurs is a soft floral fragrance and Délice des fruits smells like candied oranges ( I love to put those in a cake or coat them with chocolate, I just fall for every product that reminds me of food lol :) The Délice de fruits giftbox is on top of my wishlist (oh Santa?????). Here's a preview to the new collection by Alessandro for this winter, these shades are rich and deep. The bottles contain 5 ml so that's a great excuse for buying a couple of these nice shades. These pics were made in dull grey foggy weather but at least you get a good idea of the shades :) Polish swatches will follow later, unfortunately the golden polish was sold out, so I am on the hunt for that one now :) Ps I totally freaked after seeing my dry hands on these images, i am now obessed with applying handcream non stop lol :)

Hier zijn wat snelle swatches van de golden casino look die ik snel in de winkel op mijn hand heb gemaakt. De fotos heb ik gemaakt toen het zo grijs, grauw en mistig was, maar het geeft je wel een beetje een idee van de kleuren :) Nagellakswatches volgen snel, helaas was de gouden lak al uitverkocht, dus de jacht op de gouden lak is geopend haha :) ps na het zien van deze fotos ben ik zo geschrokken van mijn droge handen dat ik nu obsessief aan het smeren ben, lang leve de macro knop op de camera haha.

This is the result of my shopping trip yesterday....I needed to go to the bakery and this is what I came home with (and some bread of course ;) Swatches coming soon :)

Dit is het resultaat van een tripje naar de bakker....ik ging weg voor brood en kwam terug met allemaal leuke Pupa items, die nieuwe look is te leuk! Swatches volgen snel :) Oja ik had ook gewoon brood gekocht lol ;)

Everyday Minerals, some eyeshadow and blusher swatches

A new favorite brand of mine is Everyday minerals, they have these great travel size loose eyeshadows that go with me everywhere. The eyeshadows are also available in jars, but I prefer these rollers. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and shiny, and great for blending. The blushes are also stunning, but careful, you might not like them if you don't want shimmer in your blusher, these are shimmer heavy. Let's have a look.

Een van mijn nieuwe favoriete merken is Everyday minerals, dit merk heeft superhandige losse oogschaduw in een roller voor onderweg. De oogschaduw is ook in gewone potjes verkrijgbaar, maar ik geef hier de voorkeur aan, zo handig! De oogschaduws zijn heel goed qua pigment en glans, en zijn heel makkelijk te blenden. De blushes zijn ook waanzinnig mooi, maar een kleine waarschuwing, als je niet van glans in je blusher houd moet je eve goed kijken welke kleur je aanschaft, want ze zijn megashiny ( I Like!) Laten we eens kijken.

OPI Muppets: Gettin Miss Piggy with it

Another example of a glitter gradient with a Muppet polish. Application is thesame as with Gone Gonzo. Altough I liked the Gone Gonzo gradient better, but hey, I am a blue lover so that's obvious ;)

Nog een voorbeeld van een glitter gradient met een Muppet lak. Ik heb deze op dezelfde wijze aangebracht als Gone Gonzo. Ik moet wel zeggen dat ik de Gone Gonzo gradient mooier vind, maar ja, ik ben nu eenmaal gek op blauwe lakjes, das duidelijk ;)
