De Essie Resort collectie is een collectie van 4 hoogzomerse cremetinten. Alleen Turqoise&Caicos had 3 laagjes nodig om helemaal te dekken, voor de andere was 2 laagjes voldoende. de formule was zoals ik van Essie gewend ben weer heel fijn om mee te werken. Playa del Platinum is een creme greige, een kindje van beige en grijs een kleur die zowel chic als bijzonder is. Splash of Grenadine is een bijzondere mix tussen roze en lila, ik heb totaal geen vergelijkbare kleur in mijn collectie zitten, deze kleur accentueert een gebruinde huid heel mooi en is een beetje een lolita kleur, onschuldig maar heel erg vrouwelijk en sexy. Lapis of Luxury is niet zomaar een kleur blauw, het is een dromigerige tint blauw die echt doet denken aan een stralend blauwe zee in de Caribbean, met een koele frisse ondertoon. Turqouise&Caicos is nog zo een frisse tint, crispy en verkoelend groen. In een eerder bericht heb ik een vergelijking gedaan met Greenport en Shelter island (North Fork collectie van vorig jaar) en dan zie je duidelijk hoe fris en zomers deze tinten zijn. Ik wou ze alle 4 en heb er geen spijt van, ze zijn prachtig! Dit is echt een van mijn favoriete collecties van dit jaar. Enjoy!

The Essie resort collection is a collection of 4 sunny cream summershades. Only Turqouise&Caicos needed 3 coats to be opaque, the others needed 2. The formula was the great Essie formula I am used to. Playa del Platinum is a greige, the lovechild of grey and beige and this color is both sophisticated and edgy. Splash of Grenadine is really something else, it's a mix of lilac and pink and I have nothing else like it. This color looks great on skin with a tan and it's a real lolita color, it's innocent and feminine and sexy at thesame time. Lapis of Luxury is a dreamy cool and fresh blue which reminds me of a tropical caribbean sea. Turqouise&Caicos is another fresh color, cool and cryspy green. In a previous post i did a comparision of the green and blue Greenport and Shelter Island (from last years North Fork collection) and those images show how fresh and summery these shades are. I wanted all 4 of these and I really don't regret is they are fabulous! This is one of my favorite collections this year. Enjoy!
