Alcina Glamour & Chic winter collection

Aangezien het nog volop winter is wil ik je vandaag nog een mooie winterlook laten zien. Ik heb al eens eerder vol lof over Alcina geschreven en ik ben nu ook helemaal onder de indruk van deze make-up producten. De Glamour & Chic collectie bestaat uit twee shimmering eye colors, een lipgloss, een nagellak (die ik verassing! niet geprobeerd heb) en een lip stylo. Ik heb de eye colors en lipgloss geprobeerd en ben zeer tevreden, kijk je even mee?

Alcina's Glamour & Chic look for winter is gorgeous! I have mentioned the alcina bodycare products before and their make-up is just as impressive. Their winter collection offers two shimmering eyecolors, a lipgloss, a nailpolish (which I, surprise!, did not try) and a lip stylo. I did try the eye colors and lipgloss to my full content, let's check them out.

Daylight & Midnight 

De Shimmering eye colors zijn vloeibare oogschaduws die eenmaal aangebracht een waanzinnige kleur en  shimmer op je ooglid achterlaten. Ik heb de eyeshadows met het kwastje op strategische plekken aangebracht en ben toen voorzichtig met mijn vingertoppen gaan blenden. De paarsblauwe midnight is bij één laagje vrij licht, maar je kan deze kleur heel mooi opbouwen door voorzichtig meerdere laagjes over elkaar aan te brengen. Volgens mij wordt het helemaal mooi intens over een donker oogpotlood of donkere eyeshadow base. De champagnegouden kleur heet daylight en de paarsblauwe is midnight. Daylight is zowiezo een perfecte basiskleur voor elke make up stash, door het handige kwastje kan je deze ook makkelijk in je binnenste ooghoek aanbrengen als highlight. De eyeshadows blijven bovendien prima zitten.

The shimmering eye colors are liquid eyeshadows which create beautiful color and shimmer on the eyelids. I applied the creamy eyeshadow with the little brush and blended it carefully with my fingertips. The blurple midnight starts off sheer, but this product is extremely buildable and would look even more intense over a black or deep blue eyepencil or paint pot base. The result of blending these two eye colors? I will let you be the judge of that but I love them. The champagne golden Daylight is a perfect basic shade for every make-up stash, perfect for highlights below the eyebrow and in the inner corner of the eye. The formula stays in place perfectly.

De Supreme lip gloss heeft een hele mooie dieprode tint, de gloss heeft een zachte applicator maar voor een kleur als deze is precisiewerk wel een vereiste. Ik heb er dus een lippotlood bij gebruikt (Chanel roux/sienna) en ben voorzichtig mijn lippen in gaan kleuren met het penseeltje van het lippotlood, uiteraard kan elk lippenseel maar ik had die toevallig bij de hand. Ik ben best wel gemakzuchtig haha. De geurloze gloss is niet overdreven plakkerig maar je moet wel regelmatig je lippen checken, een look als deze is helemaal te gek, maar werkt alleen als deze puntgaaf is.

Eenmaal aangebracht is het effect echt wauw! Ik persoonlijk zal deze gloss niet snel in combinatie met de midnight eyeshadow gebruiken omdat make-up op mijn gezicht nog al snel overdreven oogt. Ik moet dus altijd (saai!) de balans goed in het oog houden. Ik zal eens een look doen met een heavy eyeliner, de daylight  eyeshadow en de gloss, denk dat dat een goed plan is.

The Sureme lip gloss has a deep red burgundy shade, the gloss has a soft applicator which is nice, but for a shade like this you need precision. I applied a lip pencil first and filled in the lips with the brush of my lippencil (Chanel roux/sienna). The non scented formula is non sticky but do make sure to check your lips on a regular basis because a look like this should be flawless all the time. 

Once applied this gloss has a true wow factor! I won't use this with the midnight eyeshadow myself, that would be too much for me. Make-up looks tranny quite easily on me so I always have to balance it out carefully (sooo boring). I am going to try the daylight eyeshadow with a winged eyeliner and the lipgloss, sounds like a good plan?
