Nu in Hollywood het award season is begonnen dacht ik laat ik eens meedoen. Vanaf nu doe ik elke maand een award rubriek met drie producten die ik bijzonder fijn vind. Nu zijn eigenlijk alle producten die hier online verschijnen naar mijn bescheiden mening errug fijn, maar sommige verdienen wel een extra pluim. Dit kan zijn voor innovatie, design, textuur noem maar op. Ben benieuwd wat je ervan vind, door naar de allereerste awardwinners van dit jaar. And the winner is.......

Award season has kicked off in Hollywood and that inspired me to do an award item monthly. Each month I will show you 3 products that deserve just that extra bit of credit. Most products that I show you here online are amazing in my humble opinion, but these awards are for the most innovative, effective or beautiful products. Let's see the very first winners...And the winners are.....

de Koh! Super hine topcoat is zit verpakt in een superchique flacon met weelderig dop. De topcoat bevat een uv filter om het verkleuren van de lak tegen te gaan en zorgt voor een langhoudende manicure met hoogglans finish. De topcoat is supersnel droog, en de glans is prachtig. De mooie flacon is een plaatje, enig nadeel is dat je niet echt kan zien of je flesje al aan vervanging toe is en met de mooie dop moet je ook wel een beetje uitkijken, ik zat er bij de eerste applicatie al meteen mee in mijn pasgelakte nagels haha, oeps! Ach mooie schoenen zitten ook niet altijd lekker, soms moet je iets voor lief nemen toch ;) PS Bij de topcoat krijg je een hele mooie clutch cadeau.

The Koh! Super shine top coat has a gorgeous bottle with an even prettier cap. The topcoat has an uv filter to protect the colour of your manicure and the quick dry formula keeps your mani safe from chipping and the shiny finish is devine. Only downside is..the bottle...the opaque bottle does not show if it needs to be replaced yet and you have to be careful when applying the topcoat because I was a little clumsy the first time and the orchid cap ended up ruining my fresh mani. I know how to use it properly now ;) It's like great high heels which aren't always pain free, sometimes you just gotta give a little ;) PS this topcoat comes with a fabulous clutch. 

Kiehl's lipbalm #1 ~Legend award

Toen ik een jaar of 16 was sloeg ik deze lipbalm in bij Harvey Nichols in Londen. Dat was 15 jaar geleden en er is inmiddels veel veranderd, zo is Kiehls nu ook in Nederland en België verkrijgbaar. Maar één ding is in ieder geval hetzelfde gebleven, de formule van deze legendarische lipbalm. De balm is transparant, heeft een natuurlijke finish en neutrale geur. Droge schrale lippen worden heel erg blij van deze lip balm. Ik weet zeker dat ik deze over 15 jaar nog gebruik.

When I was 16 years I used to buy this lipbalm in London at Harvey Nichols. That is 15 years ago and a lot has changed. Kiehl's is available in The Netherlands and Belgium now but the legendary formula of this lip balm is still thesame. This balm is sheer and has a natural finish and neutral scent. Dry unhapy lips will become very happy when using this lipbalm. I am sure I will still use this 15 years from now. 

L'Oréal Professionnel Instant Clear Pure shampoo ~Haircare award 

Ondanks mijn lange haar dat de neiging heeft wat droog te zijn, wordt mijn hoofdhuid wel snel vet en schilferig wat jeuk en irritatie tot gevolg heeft. Vooral nu met het koude weer zijn de schilfertjes een ware plaag en door het dragen van een muts wordt mijn haar nog sneller vet waardoor het weer meer gaat kriebelen. Lekker handig. De instant clear pure shampoo reinigt haar en hoofdhuid intensief en verwijdert schilfers op duurzame wijze. Ik had echt een paar dagen een jeukvrij hoofd, wat nogal zeldzaam is. Vaak wordt mijn haar niet echt blij van anti schilfer shampoo, dus nam ik de schilfers maar voor lief. Deze shampoo heeft respect voor mijn haar en mijn krullen zijn er niet minder enthousiast om. Geen schilfers, geen concessies. Like!

Despite of my long hair which can be dry, my dry scalp gets greasy fast which results in ich. In these cold weather conditions the problem gets worse due to the dry indoor air and wearing a hat outdoors. Sigh... The instant clear shampoo cleanses the scalp and reduces the flakes, while offering a long term solution to the problem. My scalp was ich free for at least 3 days after using this shampoo which is a record. Most anti dandruff shampoo's make a mess of my hair, but this shamoo respects my hair, leaving is healthy, shiny and curly. No flakes, no concessions. Like!
