Painting the Barielle blues

Een tijdje terug kreeg ik mijn allereerste Barielle bestelling binnen die ik had besteld via barielle.co.uk (Barielle is dus ook bereikbaar voor europese Polishta's yay!) Ik zal maar eens beginnen met de blauwe lakjes,  helaas was er geen zonlicht, dat had wel mooier geweest maar helaas, we moesten het doen met gewoon daglicht. Eerst de fotos en daarna mijn oordeel. Enjoy!

A while ago i ordered my first Barielle's trough barielle.co.uk (Barielle is within reach for european Polishta's yay!) I will start with the blue ones, unfortunately there was no sunlight, so these are taken in regular daylight, sunlight would have made these pics awesome). Pictures first than my review. Enjoy!

Electric Boogie

Een donkerblauwe jelly blauwe met groene en gekleurtde glitters droogt glanzend op maar ik heb toch maar laagje topcoat aangebracht voor dat extra beetje diepte en glans. Deze was prima aan te brengen en 2 laagjes geven voldoende dekking.

Electric Boogie is a dark blue with green and multicolored glitters which dries shiny but I added one coat of topcoat for extra depth and shine. This was okay to apply and opaque in two coats.

Falling star is een "dusty" blauwe cremelak die een beetje naar paars neigt met veel koperkleurige glitters, die een heel gaaf contrast met de vaalblauwpaarse (mooi woord voor galgje;) lak vormen en zo een bijzonder plaatje maken. Deze fotografeert niet echt zoals het moet, de kleur is in het eggie veel dieper. Dit zijn 2 laagjes lak met een laagje topcoat. Dit is mijn favoriet van de 3.

Falling star is a dusty blue creme with a hint of purple and lots of shiny copper glitters which creates a nice contrast between the dusty blurple and flaming copper. This one is so much more intense in real life. This is two coats of polish and one coat of topcoat. This is my personal favorite out of the 3 blues.

June Bug

Dit is net als falling star een vrij dikke lak, maar laat zich braaf door het kwastje over de nagel verdelen. De lak droogt mat op dus dit is met een laagje topcoat voor de glans. June Bug is een lichtblauwe shimmer die iets grijzigs heeft met frambooskleurige glittertjes. Op de foto kan je de blauwe shimmer vooral in het flesje terugzien. (klik op de foto voor een vergrote afbeelding) Dit zijn 2 laagjes.

This one is just like falling star a little on the thick side, but it obeys the brush and applies nice and even. The polish dries a little matte, so I applied topcoat for shine. June Bug is a light (slightly greyish) blue with raspberry glitter, you can see the blue shimmer in the bottle (click on image for enlarged view). This is 2 coats.
