My Zoya Stash

Ik vind het zelf altijd heel leuk om stash foto's te zien en deze staan eigenlijk al een tijdje op mijn harde schijf dus om deze regenachtige zondag een beetje op te fleuren zijn hier mijn zoya lakjes :) Er staan er nog heeeeel veel op mijn verlanglijstje want Zoya heeft echt waanzinnige kleuren en de lakken zijn echt superfijn. (Mocht je nog zoya's hebben die je niet gebruikt, let's swap ;)

I love to watch stash pictures and these have been on my hard disc for a while now, so I would like to show you my Zoya's to brighten up this grey and rainy day :) I have this super long wish list of Zoya's because their shades and formulas are seriously amazing. (Let me know If you feel like swapping ;)

Upcoming 2012 spring polishes overview

I was so curious about all the upcoming polishes that I went searching for the new and upcoming spring shades and made a collage out of the images. I can't wait for spring!

Ik was zo nieuwsgierig naar de nieuwe lentekleuren dat ik ben gaan speuren op het net en heb maar meteen een collage van alle lakken gemaakt, wordt helemaal blij van al die mooie zachte lentekleuren!

Zoya Kimmy vs Orly Emberstone

I was wondering if Zoya Kimmy and Orly emberstone are dupes but I could not find a comparison anywhere, so I purchased emberstone and did the comparison. Both Emberstone and Kimmy are red multishimmers with red and gold shimmers, BUT Emberstone also has some pink shimmers which gives the polish a cooler feel than the warm red Kimmy, plus emberstone looks a little more coral too me. So they are not dupes, do you need both? I will leave that up to you ;) You can click the images for enlarged view. 

Ik vroeg me al een tijdje af of Zoya Kimmy en Orly Emberstone dupes zijn, maar ik kon nergens een vergelijking vinden dus heb ik Emberstone snel gekocht om het even uit te zoeken. Emberstone en Kimmy zijn beide rode multishimmers met gouden en rode shimmers, Maarrrrr.... In emberstone zitten ook roze deeltjes en dit geeft deze lak een iets koelere uitstraling dan de warmrode Kimmy. Emberstone neigt ook iets meer naar koraal. Het zijn dus geen exacte dupes, maar heb je ze allebei nodig? Dat laat ik aan jou over ;) Je kan op de afbeeldingen klikken voor een vergrote weergave.

Zoya summertime swatches

Good morning! Here are swatches of my Zoya Summertime picks. A little late perhaps but I think these shades are all year round shades.

Goedemorgen! Hier zijn swatches van de lakken die ik heb gekocht uit de Zoya Summertime collectie. Misschien een beetje laat, maar dit zijn naar mijn mening lakken die je het hele jaar door kan dragen.

Zoya Drew is my new favorite Zoya polish, this is 2 coats of this gorgeous dusty fuchsia pink shimmer.

Zoya drew is mijn nieuwe favoriete Zoya lak, dit zijn 2 laagjes van deze prachtige oudroze fuchsia met shimmer.

Zoya Sunshine collection swatches

The Sunshine collection from Zoya makes the summer of 2011 a sparkly one. The collection has 6 sparkly shades (I purchased 5 of them, I did not get raspberry golden Reva) Lets have a closer look to the shades, since there are a lot of pics I added a break in this post, so see more photos after the break. All swatches are 2 coats, no topcoat.

De sunshine collectie van Zoya maakt een sprankelende van de zomer een sprankelend feestje. De collectie omvat 6 kleuren (ik heb er maar 5 aangeschaft, twijfelde teveel over de framboosgouden Reva) Aangezien het nogal veel foto's zijn heb ik dit berichtje even ingekort. Laten we eens kijken, meer foto's vind ja na read more. Alle kleuren zijn 2 laagjes zonder topcoat.

Zoya intimate collection swatches

Maybe a little late since this is officialy a spring collection, but
imo not all shades are just for spring :) I have worn Marley a lot,
she is my absolute favorite. All swatches are 2 coats.



Zoya Kieko swatches

Zoya Kieko, one of the first purple polishes I truly like and you know what...they are growing on me so you can expect a lot more purples from me :) This is 2 fabulous coats of Kieko. Have a nice weekend!

Zoya Kieko, een van de eerste paarse lakken die ik echt mooi vind en weet je wat...ik ga ze steeds leuker vinden dus je kan steeds meer paars van me verwachten de komende tijd :) Dit zijn 2 moeiteloze laagjes. Fijn weekend!

Mavala Cyclades blue swatches & essie & zoya comparison

Goodmorning on this grey cloudy morning bleeeh....Let's chase the mondaymorning blues away with some wel...er..blues ;-) Cyclades blue from mavala is a sky blue with hidden shimmer, this is the shade the sky is supposed to have but at least it is on my nails now :-) This is 2 effortless coats. I was wondering if I has any shades similar to this so I did a comparison but they weren't even close. So check this beauty out! Have a wonderfull day!

Goedemorgen op deze grijze maandagmorgen bleeeeh....Laten we de maandagmorgenblues maar eens aanpakken met een mooie vrolijke..tja blauwe lak ;-) Cyclades blue van Mavala is een hemelsblauwe lak (de kleur die de lucht nu eigenlijk zou moeten hebben zucht...) met hele mooie subtiele shimmer. Deze lak brengt echt moeiteloos aan in 2 laagjes. Ik was benieuwd of ik vergelijkbare tinten in mijn collectie heb, maar ze komen niet eens in de buurt....Mavala is oa verkrijgbaar bij Douglas en sommige drogisterijen (de etos in de aankomsthal van schiphol bijvoorbeeld) Maak er ondanks het grijze weer een leuke dag van!

Zoya Sooki vs Opi On collins avenue vs Orly Olé comparison

I did a lot of comparisons this week so here you have 2 more. Zoya Sooki (omg I love that name!!!) is a deep red creme and this comparison shows the difference between that true red and coral red which is more orange toned. Both have a great formula and are opaque in 2 coats.

 Ik heb afgelopen week veel vergelijkingen gemaakt dus hier komen er nog 2. Zoya Sooki (ik vind die naam zo geweldig!) is een felrode creme en bij deze vergelijking kan je goed het verschil zien tussen echt rood en koraalrood wat veel meer oranje pigment heeft. Beiden lakken heel erg fijn en zijn dekkend in 2 laagjes.

And here is comparison number 2, Collins avenue is still on my index and ring and I replaced Sooki with Olé from Orly which is a softer orange-coral Olé also had a lovely formula, opaque in 2 coats.

Hier is vergelijking nummer 2, Orly olé heeft de plaats van Sooki ingenomen, Olé is weer een iets zachtere meer oranje koraaltint dan On collins avenue. Ook deze lakt super en is dekkend in 2 laagjes.

a huge whipped cream and chocolate cream puff if you ever
go to Jan de Groot in Den Bosch make sure to eat one, they
also have a 10 eurogiant, for the real die hards ;-)

Zoya Areej vs Opi ate berries in the canaries comparison

When I did swatches of Areej I realized I have seen it before...so I ran upstrairs and after some digging I found Ate berries in the canaries. And don't they look similar??? (good thing I wrote down which one is on what nail.... :S ) The only big difference is the formula, Areej is far more easy to work with, Ate berries is thinner but still good formula and has the better name in my opinion :) So If you don't own one of these I would go for areej. The color is lovely, nothing very exciting, but that can be nice every now and then :)

Toen ik Areej aan het swatchen was had ik een deja vu, dus ik ben meteen naar boven gehold en na wat graafwerk kwam ik uit op Ate berries in de Canaries, vind je ze ook niet errug op elkaar lijken??? Het grote verschil tussen deze 2 is de lak zelf, die van Opi is wat dunner dan de Zoya. Persoonlijk vind ik de zoya fijner lakken, maar ik vind de naam van de Opi weer leuker...lastig.....De kleur is mooi maar niets extravagants, maar zo nu en dan kan dat wel prettig zijn ;)

Okee, zet je schrap, vandaag heb ik een paar plaatjes van recente hauls en swaps voor je (swappen is echt fantastisch!) Ik hoop echt dat mijn man mijn blog ff niet checkt want ohoh.....mocht ik vermist raken dan weet je waarom haha. (zal wel meevallen hoor ;) Nog iets leuks, ik heb een facebook pagina aangemaakt voor Crystaliciousss, ik wou meer doen en je beter op de hoogte houden van nieuwtjes, speciale acties, kortingen en nog meer leuke dingen en als ik zovaak post op blogger wordt het een rommeltje dus dit is ideaal! Bovendien is het voor jou, lieve lezeres, veel makkelijker om op facebook te reageren en ik ben gek op feedback en jouw mening dus doe gezellig mee! Dit blijft wel de basis voor swatches en reviews, maar de korte updates gaan voortaan via facebook dus ik hoop je daar ook te zien :)

Zoya Marley vs Essie Nice is nice comparison

Essie Nice is nice and Zoya Marley are not dupes, but side by side you can see the small differences even better. Marley has a pretty shimmer, I would almost call it a pearl finish and Nice is nice is a slightly watery creme, but very buildable. Marley is more opaque but they are both great after 2 coats. Another difference, Marley is a more pale and cool shade of lilac. I like them both a lot, but Marley wins because of the gorgeous shimmer.

Essie Nice is nice en Zoya Marley zijn geen dupes, maar naast elkaar kan je goed de verschillen in finish en kleur zien. Marley heeft een mooie shimmer, bijna parelfinish en Nice is nice is een beetje waterige cremelak, maar toch met goede dekking. Marley is dekkender, maar na 2 laagjes is ook Nice is nice mooi effen en glad, ook bij Marley heb ik 2 laagjes gebruikt. Marley is ook een wat koelere tint lila. Ik vind ze beide errrug mooi, maar mijn persoonlijke voorkeur gaat toch uit naar Marley vanwege de mooie finish.

Summer of blues: Zoya Phoebe swatches & review

This summer is all about blue, there are a lot of awesome blue shades to choose from. One excellent choice is Zoya Phoebe, a matte blue shimmer which is stunning with and without topcoat. It applied quite easy for a matte and dried really fast. This is 2 coats of Phoebe. I am so in love with this color, it's the perfect shade of blue for the matte shimmer.

Deze zomer draait om blauw, er zijn ontzettend veel mooie blauwe tinten om uit te kiezen en dit is een hele goeie. Zoya Phoebe is een matte blauwe shimmer die zowel mat als met topcoat de show steelt. De lak bracht best makkelijk aan wat bijzonder is voor een matte lak en droogde lekker vlot. Dit zijn 2 laagjes Phoebe. Dit is nu al een van mijn favorieten voor de zomer, ik ben echt gek van blauw en dit is precies de juiste tint voor het bijzondere matte effect.
