The lovely spring weather was a good excuse to start wearing cute skirts and shorts again, but this winter I got so extremely pale that even my pale beige pedicure nailpolish looked more healthy than my skintone. Time for some action! I think most of us are aware of the dangers of UV rays, and that tanning is something that needs a moderate approach. When I make the exception and go to a tanning salon I only go for 10 minutes instead of 20 and make sure to use a product that gets the most out of the salon visit. I tried 2 Australian gold products, Hadcore black and Peace love and cupcakes.
Peace love and cupcakes has a very very sweet citrus/bubblegum like scent, hardcore black has a tropical coconut scent. I have a soft spot for coconut so hardcore black is my favorite.
Both lotions applied easily and have a non greasy formula. These products wil keep your skin hydrated so the tan will last longer and active bronzers will increase the effect of tanning for a deeper tan. I tan very quickly but I noticed the hardcore black seemed to speed up the proces even more. Both lotions also have a very very delicate shimmer, leaving your skin with a gorgous glow.

Do these products contribute to a deeper tan? Very hard to say, My feet do look a lot better now that they have a subtle tan, but I tan very easily. So what matters most to me are the nourishing and hydrating properties of these products which do a great job. My legs are smooth and shiny after a tanning session (usually they get very very dry) and the tropical scents combined with the warm uv rays create a mini visit to a tropical getaway. I will never ever go to a tanning salon without my hardcore black ever again.

Het mooie lenteweer is reden genoeg om die stoere shortjes en leuke rokjes weer uit de kast te halen maar minder leuk zijn mijn extreem witte benen...gewoonlijk heb ik wel een lekker tintje maar nu zijn mijn voeten zelfs bleker dan mijn bleekbeige nagellak....oeps...We weten nu wel dat teveel UV straling niet goed voor ons is en dus beperk ik blootstelling aan die stralen ook tot een minimum. De tanning producten van Australian gold helpen daarbij, de samenstelling van deze producten zorgt voor een snellere bruining maar ook voor verzorging en hydratatie waardoor je bruine kleurtje langer blijft zitten. Ik ga altijd maar 10 minuutjes ipv de gebruikelijke 20. Ik heb de Peace love & cupcakes en Hardcore black aan een paar tests onderworpen.
Peace love & cupcakes heeft een mierzoete citrus/bubblegum geur en hardcore black heeft een tropische kokosgeur (driemaal raden welke mijn favoriet is als kokosaddict ;)
Beide producten hebben een hele fijne textuur die snel intrekt en geen vettig laagje achterlaat. Werd ik sneller bruin door deze producten? Dat vind ik lastig te zeggen aangezien ik heel makkelijk kleur, maar mijn voeten hebben nu in ieder geval al een veel gezelliger aanzien nu ze een beetje bruin zijn. Maar het gaat mij dan ook vooral om de verzorgende eigenschappen, mijn benen waren glad en glanzend na het zonnebankbezoekje in plaats van droog en schilferig. Ook laten beiden een heel subtiel parelmoerglansje achter op de huid voor een mooie glow. Mijn besluit staat vast, als ik de uitzondering maak om onder de zonnebank te gaan dan gaat de fles hardcore black zeker met me mee! Ik ga nooit meer zonder :)
